We just moved

We just moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah from Provo Utah. We absolutely LOVE the area. We have a playground, pavilion, and volleyball net right across the street. We are renting a town home and it is beautiful! People ask me what my favorite part about our new place is and I answer, "The best part is, how it just feels right." I know we are supposed to be here. This home is where A LOT of good things are going to happen.

I have been looking forward to moving not only because it is the next phase in our lives but also because it is one giant step forward in the adoption process. We can now do our home study which takes about a month to do. A home study is where a case worker comes into your home and makes detailed notes of everything. Basically he/she is trying to judge whether your home is suitable for children to live in. It also includes back ground checks, finger prints, detailed generational questions etc. The home study costs $600 and needs to be renewed yearly.

It is kind of crazy how expensive and detailed the adoption process is. We think we might just try to save up a little more before we go forward with our home study. However, it feels so right to be moving in a good direction and to know that we are living where the Lord would have us live.

Life is great! Love you all!
